This is the second book in the series. I don't know how many books are planned, but iI'm there for them all. This romance focuses on Calladia and Astaroth. It picks up shortly after the first book. Astaroth is now mortal and has amnesia. After being kicked out of the bar that they were celebrating in, Calladia  is itching for a fight.  And she gets one, which causes her to unintentionally save Astaroth- who without his memories isn't half bad.  They are sent on a quest to restore his memories. I really like Calladia. She is rough around the edges but she has heart. Eveything that everyone has told her is a bad thing are the exact traits that Astaroth loves about her. They compliment each other well . This is funny with the bonus of an adventurous quest. And then plot - restoring Astaroth  back to the high council and stopping Moloch and his hybrid hating cronies is actually more substantial then I expected it to be. This story had the potential of spiraling into overdramatics, but that only came from Calladia's mom. This was just a good quality romantic comedy. I'm tempted to say that the end wrapped tihings up a little too quickly, leaving some things left hanging. But, if the next story picks up where this left off -I'm okay with that.
