What a great end to the series. Once you get everyone sorted out on what they do and what side of things they are on, it's an amazing read. There is one character I absolutely despised through all the books. So much so that I swear you could hear when my eyes rolled because they rolled so hard. But the overall arching story was such a great read. I have always been a fan of phoenixes and I really enjoy how they were portrayed in this series.

Adam has really outdone himself in this series. The characters, the brotherhood bond, the science fiction elements, just chef's kiss. What's even more impressive after reading through the Acknowledgements section, is what I gathered from the process of what it took to get these books done. But hopefully Adam is now on the other side of things and embraces this huge accomplishment completing a series like this. This labor of love really shines through this whole series and you can tell how much time, thought, and love that went into it.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a great sci-fi trilogy that has to do with super powers, fighting the good fight, family bonds, and coming to terms with what life throws out you.
