Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis

4.0

I really didn't expect to like this book that much, especially from the beginning. But I gotta say if you just tough out the confusion in the beginning, you'll get it. So to anyone who's thinking about putting this down twenty pages in, reading reviews to see if it gets better; it does.

I was very confused at the beginning because I thought the author wanted us to understand all the technology the MC gets her hands on, however, I don't think that was her point at all. Besides the "stitching" I doubt you need to understand anything else to love this story.

After the whole getting kidnapped thing (not a spoiler), I really think the plot was interesting enough for me to continue reading.

This is a very character based story and I think the author did a great job of it, and that's coming from someone who usually lives on plot.

And lastly, the very well done romance. Being a "sub-plot" of course you might expect it to hinder on the "real" plot but it was truly weaved seamlessly into the story and I loved the ending. What more can I say?
