The Mistletoe Murder And Other Stories by P.D. James

2.0

I’m a little bummed this was my first introduction to P.D.
James. The Mistletoe Murder was cozy, had an interesting point of view, and a nice twist at the end. Would have given it 3.5 if it had been the only one..

But the other three were disappointing. The Boxdale Inheritance feels like a complete rip off of Christie and The Twelve Clues of Christmas was not clever at all. The solution to A Very Commonplace Murder was so obvious it was painful, and frankly, the tale was a little disgusting. Wondering if other James’ stories are better?
