keikoreadsmanga 's review for:
Yagi the Bookshop Goat
by Fumi Furukawa
First, my gratitude to TOKYOPOP and Netgalley for providing me an advanced reading copy of this series in exchange for an honest review.
I found this series weirdly adorable. It is set in an animal world where herbivores co-exist with carnivores. Yagi is a goat with a weird ability to literally devour a book to enjoy its content by taste. He works in a bookshop in the Carnivores zone together with Ookami, the wolf manager. With a few twists and turns, they finally realized their feelings for each other. This is actually more tamed than I thought it would be, despite the cute cover, and that's why I love it. And the art style is also cute!!
