Dead Six by Mike Kupari, Larry Correia

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the MHI series, but I did enjoy it. The characters are, for the most part, not all that likable, and they frequently get killed off so you shouldn't get too attached to them anyway. There's definitely a lot of gunfight and other types of action, so this should please you if you're into that stuff. There are some great one-liners, and the villains are appropriately evil.

As far as the narration, I don't think I like Bronson Pinchot's style. The way he reads doesn't really reflect the rhythm in which most people actually speak, so it's a little off-putting to me. He reads the two main female characters a little too much whiny-damsel in my opinion, and there's not enough difference in the way he reads the two main male characters. There should be a noticeable difference in the voices of the two main men and the two main women, and there's very little difference.

I wasn't sure if I was going to continue with the series when I was about half-way through this book, but after finishing it, I do plan to continue.

ETA: After listening to this one and starting the next one, some of my speech patterns have started to change to sort of match the narration here. So... that's weird.
