Spider-Man/Deadpool #11 by Scott Koblish, Penn Jillette

5.0

I don’t read Spider-Man or Deadpool, but I’m sure this issue pissed off the purists. However, I do read Jillette’s stuff mainly because he has a wickedly funny sense of humor, and this was exactly what you’d expect. Witty and humorous. I saw another review that mistook his self-deprecating humor for egoism. Probably a Spider-Man and Deadpool fan unfamiliar with Jillette’s work. (Sock - comedic murder mystery novel, Director’s Cut - comedic stalker movie, Penn and Teller Get Killed - comedic thriller movie). Duo magicians trade places with duo superheroes in an excellent twist. It’s funny. Don’t be so serious. Highly recommended for Penn and Teller fans. Likely skip it for Spider-Man and Deadpool fans.
