Demon Moon by Meljean Brook

3.0

I liked Savi and Colin (most the time- he had occasions of when he was horrible to Savi- to save her from herself- and idiocy) and the plot was interesting, it did get a bit slow in places and felt like Savi and Colin's relationship was going in circles.

Colin and Savi's relationship is frustrating though- something happened in Caelem but we're not told what for so long (we get a few flashbacks) and whatever happened is driving Savi's actions, it just makes it annoying trying to understand what's happening with only half the information. They are also both convinced that any relationship is doomed so are skirting around each other, pushing away and then bouncing back.

My biggest problem with Demon Moon though was the writing style, there's a lot of POV jumping and time seems to skip forward in places with no indication of it being a new scene so I found myself rereading paragraphs trying to figure out where the jump was. It was just a bit confusing.
