I've been on this kick where I just want to read problematic content. I picked this up because one of my ig mutuals said "serious dub con, kind of disturbing, basically Stockholm syndrome so be warned." and I said great! Sign me up. This manga has already been on my radar for a while, because I love the cover so much. The art, the colors, the expressions, it's gorgeous. From the cover you kind of get the vibe you're in for something a little messy and honestly? I didn't think it was that bad.

Hitoshi is an average guy, he's doesn't have any friends, he didn't get into any of the colleges he wanted to get into and he mostly feels like he's drifting in life. One day when he's leaving work he hears a noise coming from the trunk of a car and out pops a dude, who's definitely trouble. The guy, Mah, asks (forces) Hitoshi to let him borrow his phone and wallet and let him stay at his place. Hitoshi is terrified and timid so he can't say no. Mah does some shady shit in the beginning of the first volume, which is where the dub con is. However after like the beginning bit gets settled, Mah isn't a bad guy? Like he really helps out Hitoshi and Hitoshi starts to warm up to him and even questions himself. He's all "this dude robbed me, but he paid me back and I'm starting to like him? Maybe this is stolkholm??" which I thought was funny.

Honestly I thought this was silly and stupid and I liked reading it. It's got this like "dark" vibe to it, but a lot of the content just feels so juvenile that it doesn't feel all that dark. It's not like that great, but I enjoyed it.
