The New Queer Conscience by Adam Eli

inspiring lighthearted fast-paced

3.5

For me, personally, The New Queer Conscience didn't offer much of anything new. It was a short, quick read with basic thoughts on how we can support each other in the queer community. I appreciated how the author discusses his intersectionality of being both Jewish and queer, while still acknowledging his privilege of being a white cis man. There are many more conversations that could stem from the principles the author shares in this book. I would love to see how those conversations would go if we took things a few steps further.
