Disappointing. Aliens invade the Earth and our only hope for defense is an ancient race we call genies. Fantasy and Science Fiction are uncomfortable bedfellows when not done right, and this is an example of that.
I found the art to be too cartoony, fighting against the story. Also, whoever did the text made a grievous error. The font used for the aliens was difficult to parse while the jinn often had black text against dark blue background.it’s almost as if they were trying to hide the writing.
