L.A. Outlaws by T. Jefferson Parker

3.0

Listened to the audiobook version, and it's one of the few (only?) I've encountered with dual narrators. I can see why that would be necessary for this book, given the two POV's, Suzanne and Charlie, but I don't like the production. I will say that Susan Ericksen goes all out with her portrayal of Suzanne Jones, and I simply wish she could have read the whole book. She would've done fine with the Charlie chapters. And I could do without the talking-through-a-tin-can interjections when a character's voice is supposed to be in someone's head. BUT - the story is fun and somewhat suspenseful - I always like a Parker novel. If you do, too, don't avoid this audiobook, just be forewarned.
