This is the fourth book in The Veronica Speedwell series. It’s a cozy mystery with a missing person case at the heart of it. The usual chemistry between Veronica and Stoker is still there, but this time, they have to keep it under wraps from their hosts and everyone else. This one was just okay, and it felt a bit slow-paced because of the missing person aspect. But it was still a good read with a few red herrings and some fun twists. It didn’t quite reach the heights of the first few books in this series, though.
