The River of Souls by Robert R. McCammon, Vincent Chong

3.0

This was my least favourite in the Matthew Corbett series. It was considerably shorter than it’s predecessors & the story felt weak. The character Magnus felt like a replacement for Hudson Greathouse. I still enjoy the characters & the overall story arc of what McGammon is doing, but this just felt like a story that was just rushed out due to en encroaching deadline.

Will still continue with the series, in face “Freedom of the Mask” is in my cue to read soon.
