Adam by Roxanne St. Claire

4.0

Adam Tucker is rehabbing a building to be a camp for at-risk kids. He reluctantly asks Jadyn McAllister to help with the design. Jadyn is really Jane McAllen. Adam does trust her because he knows she is holding back. He bares his sole and tells her about his last rescue in the Coast Guard. Jane tells him most of her story. She does a great job on decorating the boathouse and using part as a museum of the towns military history and falling in love with Adam and the town. The reason Jane is running catches up with her but Adam saves her. I loved Adam and his commitment. I also like that he didn't want to get involved with someone who wasn't willing to trust him. Jane was a great character. She had a difficult past but made something of herself. They were great together.
