Sarah had a crush on her friend, Jackie when they were 15 years old. One night they end up kissing in a game of spin the bottle. Jackie was in a relationship and out of fear that he would learn about the kiss she stopped talking with Sarah.

Jackie is recovering from a divorce from her high school sweetheart. She has diabetes and PCOS and struggled with fertility. She decides to go on a cruise in an effort to get some rest post divorce. To her surprise she runs into Sarah also trying to rest from work on the cruise. Sarah, the plus sized woman who has always thought about Jackie.

I really loved the way that Lauren writes the fat rep in this book. Jackie is mid-sized and Sarah is plus sized. The way she talked about stretch marks, jiggles and rolls honestly made me so happy. I really appreciated the discussions about PCOS and diabetes.

I enjoyed the story a lot and cannot wait to see where Lauren goes with her writing, as this is a debut novel. Oh, and there is some really good spice in here. One aspect that I wanted a bit more with was the romance to be flushed out a bit more.
