So many characters, so many story lines, too nice of a bow at the end…
I feel like you don’t have to have the first one fresh in your mind to read this, but it would definitely help with the character confusion (I ended up looking up the first book summary and spoilers to refresh my memory about 1/3 through and it helped a lot).
I feel like I was reading 2 separate books, with different characters and plots that so very very loosely tied together at the end that it seemed forced.
Even though I think it was kind of all way too neat and tidy in the end, with absolutely no purpose and totally just all forced, I still liked reading it 🙃
