I still love the idea of a serious, thought provoking YA book with illustrations. They are beautiful and really enhance the story, without making it seem like a kids picture books.
Eva has really come into her own here. I wanted to call this a dystopian future book, but there is so much hope here (and wisdom in diversity, that seems wrong).
