The Liar's Lullaby by Meg Gardiner

Did not finish book.

This is the second Gardiner book I've tried, and I don't know whether the blame lies with the author or the narrator. Fans can't get enough, but I don't find her to be at all exciting, well-plotted, or rewarding.
