I liked Bane and Shadow but not as much as Hope and Red. This was a little more of a struggle to read - mainly due it's pacing.
The book is building towards the third installment but because it is essentially a filler book, it does drag a little bit.
I am however excited to see where Skovron goes with the third novel.
