Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto
3.0

This book was very fast paced and fun. I loved the aunties and the whole plot of the book. I loved the whole wedding and the plot twist with the bride and bridesmaid. I had some issues with it though. I saw someone else write this and i agree completely: it gave me whiplash. It was half romance half Thriller and it started off with a duel timeline but then dropped it after a few chapters. When they got to the hotel the main character's ex suddenly started being interested in her and one second they would be making out the next he thought she cheated on her with the dead body. I really didn't understand how he didn't seem too upset about the whole ordeal instead just wanting to get back together. And don't even get me started on the end. How they fed the fake story to the stupid detective could've been perfect but for some reason it was written in a way/put in a book that left me completely unsatisfied. While I definitely laughed out loud on so. Many. Occasions. I had a lot of issues with the book itself and are therefore really having a hard time rating this book.
