4.0

A wonderfully atmospheric anthology of haunted tales from a visionary independent publisher based in Manchester. Many of the tales are set in the north of England, and this setting, along with a style that is perhaps typical of this neck of the woods, intensifies the eeriness of the anthology. Beautiful prose and descriptions accompanied by dreamlike ambiguity make this offering so touching, so very haunting.
