Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu

5.0

The formatting is remarkably clever and I loved the dedication to the themes. I think the most interesting part of this novel is that it caused me to re-evaluate my own place in my interior life as well as in my society at large as 1) an American, 2) a 1st generation child of an immigrant, and 3) a consumer of media and the narratives they cultivate. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone but be prepared for a trip and remember that it's okay to get a little disoriented as you go; the meaning will show by the end.
