I would much rather believe that this was supernatural than what ended up happening in the end.

I do think the epilogue ruined it for me, I don't know. It would have been cool to just have it end with the last chapter without all of the resolution. It wrapped everything up too nicely in my opinion, but maybe that's the pessimist in me.

 I strongly dislike Maggie. Plain and simple. I wanted to skip her chapters in favor of just reading more of House of Horrors, I would have rather read that book. 

I think this is a wonderful mystery book, with an interesting premise and it would have been so much cooler to me if it went more along the "Conjuring" side of things rather than "there is a logical explanation for everything that is happening in this house".

Edited to add: I don't understand her parents. They legit were gaslighting their daughter rather than just talk to her. This is a prime example to me of "maybe if you let her in on the secret, all of this shit wouldn't happen".
