Loved this book! Such a fast read too, I think I finished in about 2 reading sessions.
I really enjoyed Esther's progression as a character, going from a shy girl, afraid of most everything and okay with blending into the background and disappearing. And at the end of the book she kills a man because she doesn't want to be just a shy girl who is okay with being called "sweetheart" and taking on that role in order to make him more comfortable
I loved the interactions with Cye and how their relationship grows.
