The Proudest Blue: A Story of Hijab and Family by Ibtihaj Muhammad

5.0

Growing up in a country where the majority of people are muslim, I never got the treatment of what Asiyah and Faizah did. So it made me realise again and again that our muslim sisters often face those bad words or treatments just because they wear their hijab. So I'm glad this book exists to give the affirmations to young people. I hope through this book, our young sisters can gain a moral support to face these hardship and wear their hijab proudly.

“Asiyah's hijab isn't a laugh. Asiyah's hijab is like the ocean waving to they sky. It's always there, strong and friendly.”
