A Necessary End by Peter Robinson

4.0

The third in the Inspector Banks series and a novel that is 25 years old. It's still has an up to date feel with the story, even though there is not the pervasive presence of mobile phone technology. It's an enjoyable read but may lack a bit of excitement and drags in a couple of places. It's still worth reading and as I've read many books in the series, but not in order, it helps fill in the past of the characters that continue in later books.

Like catching up with an old friend.
