Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between by Jennifer E. Smith

1.0

Firstly thanks to NOVL and Hachette publishing for providing me with this ARC!
That being said.... I flat out didn't like it.
The basic plot is that Clare and Aidan are recently graduated high schoolers who have been going out for two years but must decide by the end of the night whether to stay together or break up when they move to different colleges.
Both characters were such a snooze fest and this rarely happens to me but I thoroughly didn't care about them at all. Clare was so typical in that "I'm nerdy, but also conventionally attractive, and well liked by everyone!" kind of way. Aidan was also a typical "I'm a guy so I'm not that smart but I play a sport and hang out with my guy friend and watch out for my little sister so I'm a good guy!" kind of guy. BORING.
Then the main plot of whether they would be together or not was resolved nicely about half way through BUT IT STILL KEPT GOING?!?! They just kept circling back and forth and talking about about a decision they had already made it was sooo REPETITIVE!
And then all the problems that had to be solved at each of the journeys stops were so contrived and just made me dislike the characters further because of how selfish they were through all of them.
