I Want to Be Your Doll by Mira Ong Chua

2.0

Honestly, it was a bit disappointing despite the interesting premise and me loving their past works. The plot never strayed into new territories, playing it completely safe to point where it became all too predictable, especially when we get Opera.

I also never really cared for the characters; they never really develop into anything. I was hoping we would explore more of Kirsche's background or even dive deeper into the morals of being an enchanted doll. I would even loved if the relationship between them was better developed rather than being pretty much instalove.

All in all, despite the art pulling it through, it stayed rather surface level.
