The Nanny by Gilly Macmillan
4.0

I love a Gilly Macmillan thriller and this one did not dissappoint. Told in multiple pov through varying timelines. This book was a one sitting read. The secrets that everyone were keeping from eachother added to the mystery of what really happened at lake hall and who excately is the nanny?
Jo a widow now returns to her mother's home with her daughter Ruby as she tries to reestablish her life and get back on her feet. Jo has a distanced relationship with her mother, lady holt. However lady holt tries to connect with her daughter and granddaughter while they are there. Then the nanny from Jo's childhood comes back to town and back into their lives. Around the same time a skull is found on the property. Why has the nanny returned? Who's skull has been ? Why does lady holt have reservations about the nanny? Will relationships be mended or more torn apart?
