The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels

4.0

★★★★☆ - I don't know how I am supposed to rate this book...
I read this book for my thesis about the Chinese Cultural Revolution.
Here I am again, trying to rate a book I read for my thesis.
I don't really know what to say except this was useful for my research. There are many references to this book in other writings about Maoism or Cultural Revolution, so I had to read it.
Was it well-written? No. Like pretty much every other book of this type I read (yet it was less badly-written than [a:Mao Zedong|4797485|Mao Zedong|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1324623507p2/4797485.jpg]'s books which are, in my opinion, the worst).
In the past, I had read some extracts of this book (especially when I was in high school), but I had never read the book entirely.
It's pretty quick to read and will probably take you only one or two hours.
I also feel like this book is an important piece of history if I can say so. Even if you don't agree with the ideas inside, it's quite important to read it.
Well, I guess if you're interested in Marxism or just communism in general, this book is for you. If you're writing a thesis about the Chinese Cultural Revolution, I also suggest you read it :)
