You have three hundred sixty-five days of immunity." And then, looking him in the eye, said, "And I'll be seeing you on day three hundred sixty-six” - Neal Shusterman 🪦

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars

I BLOODY LOVED THIS BOOK! I loved the premise but I’d held off reading it for a year or so because I didn’t want it to be a flop. I was NOT disappointed. Scythe was everything I wanted and more. 🙈

Firstly, the writing style was great - very formal but easy to read. I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrator was the perfect pick. I loved the concept and thought it was pretty well fleshed out for a YA. 💕

The characters were GREAT, the character development was even better. I love that this book really pushed the consequences of immortality and power. It really made me think. 💭

This book is dark, expect a lot of gore including murder and suicide. I didn’t expect this book to be quite so sad but I LOVE where the story went and cannot wait to read book 2! 🩸

Have you read the Scythe triology? Which is your fav? 👀
