Hearts & Other Body Parts by Ira Bloom

4.0

I’ve never read a more cantankerous supernatural romp. I will admit I started this feeling very leery and just looking for something to get me out of my reading slump but once I committed? I was invested and wanted to see it to the very end.

I really appreciate the vast character arcs as well as the detail taken into aspects of witchcraft and law—-yes you read that right.

A fun read! I was laughing way too much by the back half even when my heart was sinking every other page in the middle. I felt the full trajectory of emotions reading this.

Best book ever? Perhaps not. A good time? Absolutely.
