This was pretty rubbish but I still enjoyed it (I have a sinus infection at the moment which might have something to do with it). It reads like a cross between one of the Executioner spin offs like Phoenix Force and a Tom Clancy presents series. The story revolves around a shadowy paramilitary group operating in the US (don't worry, they're the good guys!) and feels very much like the set up for a series (which is exactly what it is). So there's a fairly scant plot and lots of individual back stories for various characters.
The author makes the strange choice of presenting dialogue in a script form ("Cal(chuckling): No way!") but aside from that and the dodgy politics it's a fun enough, switch your brain off kind of ride.
