I remember wanting to this story back in the day when I originally read In An Absent Dream, and I'm quite please with what McGuire gives us here. This is some of the strongest writing in the whole series, and it is genuinely heartbreaking. I think this could have benefited from being longer (especially in regards the the actual fight with the Wasp Queen), but other than that, no complaints.
