I didn't much like the weird quadruple love thing going on with Erin, Jordan, Rhun and Elisabeta or Rhun's initial portrayal in the book. By the end though I believe it'd been recovered enough that it felt more like the first. All the twists and turns and revelations and implications were great! All of the historical figures I feel were done well though a few I have to admit I don't know much about.
