This was an interesting plot. I liked the murder mystery about it. There wasn’t any romance. And there is something going on with the statues but it wasn’t a main plot. Which was a little confusing.
I like Madison and her leaning into her powers. She has a flighty personality which got a little annoying. Her friends didn’t seem like friends? They were just there.
Overall I liked the concept of this book. The murder mystery was well done and interesting. The random potion creating didn’t flow well. I don’t think I will continue the series.
