We're back in the Wayward Children universe, this time continuing the timeline from the first book, but with new characters! I don't want to give specific spoilers, but it was exciting to travel to other realms in this installment. I was iffy on the focus of a new character's experience with fatphobia in the real world, but ultimately I think the repeated focus paid off due to events that occur later in the book.
