A Girl's Best Friend by Lindsey Kelk

5.0

The book starts of as a flash forward, then goes back by about a month.

I found the book slow to start with, the characters from the 'I heart' series meet with Tess and Amy, I didn't really like this, I just didn't get why she had to mix more people into the story, made it slightly complicated and drawn on. I was tempted to stop reading however, I decided to plod on.

I must say I am glad I carried on reading as the last half of the book is griping and much funnier, I read the last half in one afternoon and it is a perfect ending. The only thing I wasn't keen on is when you catch up to the flash forward at the start, as it just carries on and I couldn't remember what happened at the start, I was on my kindle so was too much faffing to go back to chapter one. Personally Lindsey should of just wrote it as it happened and not done a silly preview at the start.

I do hope Lindsey leaves Tess here as it is, I can't see where the characters could now go.
