A new spin on King Arthur in a brutal dystopian future. Ari, the 42nd incarnation of King Arthur was mysteriously abandoned as a small child. She was rescued by Kay who becomes her adopted brother along with his two moms. They are constantly on the run from the corporation, Mercer and the administrator who literally run the universe. It’s when Kay and Ari are trying to escape from the clutches of Mercer that they are forced to crash land onto earth. Several things happen: Kay and Ari discover that Mercer has been stripping earth of all its resources and Ari discovers Excalibur imbedded in a tree and is able to pull it out. After that the legend renewed begins with all the original characters just with a slight twist. The characters are fun and lovable with enough of a fresh take on this classic that the reader will be quickly immersed into Ari’s world.
