I loved this novella so hard. Read it in Naughty Brits from my library and then bought it so o could revisit it whenever I wanted.
I absolutely loved Max. I mean, who wouldn’t? And the identity thing is one of my favorite tropes. Obviously it’s going to cause problems but done right, it’s a thing of beauty. I did think the way Lilah runs off more than once is not great. Like, she could have maybe had a longer conversation instead, at least the second time?
I loved this story despite its faults, just like I love Max and Lilah.
