This whole series is excellent. The art is great, the story is dynamic and adventurous, the friendships at its core are stellar, and the political themes are done so well, especially the way media and news broadcasting are used.

This final book did feel a little rushed and the transitions were often nonexistent, but the series as a whole is top-notch. For any adults reading this on their own, I will say that it oversimplifies a lot of the themes in a way that lacks depth but it’s meant for kids, so that didn’t bother me.
