Sorry in advance because I think what follows might be a little spoilery. I can't tell anymore at this point. So keep reading at your own risk ! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !

Well this was definitely entertaining. I'm looking forward to finding out how this story will turn out to be in the second book.

From the comments I made during this reading, it'll be clear to everybody what my thoughts are concerning a certain prince. And Andreus deserves every insult I threw his way, if not more. He was such a prick from the second half of the book until the end. I hope he chokes on his guilt. And then I hope he realizes what a stupid fuck he has been and that it cripples him.
But even though I wish all of this and more where he is concerned, I can't help wishing that the siblings find a way to work it out.

I thinks that's what bumbed me the most during this read. I loved that Carys and Andreus had each others backs (well especially Carys, which is something Andreus was very quick to forget, considering Carys kept his secret even though it meant she would suffer). I loved that they were a team and that their bond came before anything else.
So yeah I was really pissed when Andreus started being a freaking idiot who couldn't be bothered to use his freaking stupid brain, understand the situation and realize that his only ally through all this had always been and would only ever be his sister.

And I was so pissed on behalf of Carys for caring for and loving and still trying to protect such a stupid, traitor brother. Thank God she had some support !

Anyway, I'm sorry because between the comments I made while reading and this review, if the blurb hadn't already hinted where this first book was going, then what I just wrote gave it even more away. I'm not in the habit of making such spoilery reviews - it's actually been a while since I last wrote one, so I guess this is me being rusty.
Nevertheless, this book IS worth reading because even though you just know from the get go that Carys and Andreus's relationship is going down the drain, reading it happen was infuriating (which in this case is a good thing because you still want to read it happen and you still hope all the while that Andreus is going to take his head out of his a**, sorry, that they are going to work things out.

So, sorry I kind of spoiled you, and I wish you a good reading !
