The School for Good and Evil: The Ever Never Handbook by Soman Chainani

4.0

As a companion book to [b:The School for Good and Evil|16248113|The School for Good and Evil (The School for Good and Evil, #1)|Soman Chainani|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1490529205s/16248113.jpg|21599439] series (which I absolutely LOVE), I was so so excited to finally read this! I haven't bought a non-Kindle book in about a year - no room - but I made an exception for this, knowing that there were so many gorgeous illustrations throughout the book.

It answered lots of questions I had, even some I didn't even know I had, and served as a good bridge book between [b:The Last Ever After|18004320|The Last Ever After (The School for Good and Evil, #3)|Soman Chainani|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1421947451s/18004320.jpg|25268052]. It dropped a few hints for the next book ([b:Quests for Glory|31212082|Quests for Glory (The School for Good and Evil The Camelot Years #1)|Soman Chainani|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1488534185s/31212082.jpg|51866008]) - as though I wasn't desperate enough to read it before! (It releases in September - soon...)There were plenty of laughs, as per, and I basically read it in one sitting! Weirdly, some of the pages in my edition were in the wrong order, but there weren't any missing so I didn't mind too much. Overall, it didn't blow my socks off but has definitely piqued my interest in the next one (to an almost painful degree)

I think I'll go re-read the series in preparation. Yes.
