My dearest Francine recommended me this book and pushed me to read it for Epic Recs February. I decided to buy it for kindle when it was on sale, but what I didn't know was that you couldn't pay with paypal on amazon, and I don't own any other option to buy. So Francine got it for me, together with another kindle book (that I have yet to finish). So, thank you so much for that! Because I LOVED the book!
I had never read something from this author before, but since Francine is such a big fan, it didn't took long before I was pushed one of her books for Epic Recs. I wasn't disappointed. It was fluffy and contemporary and those two elements in books make me a happy noodle. I actually finished it the day I got it, the day after Valentines Day.
In The Avery Shaw Experiment, we follow Avery who has been heartbroken by her best friend Aiden. I kind of shipped them at first, but then Grayson appeared and right after that I fully shipped Grayson and Avery. (I also shipped Grayson a bit with me, but that's a whole different story). The story was funny and different and it made me happy, despite the fact that Avery was heartbroken.
Knowing that this story was so good, I might end up reading more of Kelly Oram's books when I get the chance! I loved her writing as it was easy to understand it and I adored how I was right in the story after just reading the first few pages!
I highly recommend this book, as it is super cute and adorable. If you are a fan of contemporary and romance, this is definitely a book for you! It is something new and it is quirky and funny and oh so romantic. If you have the chance, pick this novel up, you won't regret it!
