Der Rebell by L.J. Shen

5.0

Okay so I’m fighting with myself wether I should give this book four or five stars. It’s four right now.
Nevermind changed it to five.

I LOVED THIS.

I liked this story much more than the first one (I love Penn and Daria though!!) but this was ahhhhhhhh.

I gotta be honest and say it was frustrating to see how many obstacles these two had to pass and how many they caused for the stupidest reasons. Honestly, at one point it got really tiring but it was never really annoying.

The way these two love, hurt, suffer, learn and grow is beautiful.

Seeing what a person Luna started off as and what a person she became in the end was extremely empowering. I absolutely love her and her endurance.

(Sometimes Knights jealousy felt childish but honestly loving somebody since age four is probably doing some things to named person)

After reading the first book my exact words to my friend were “This book will be much funnier than book one, since Knight is such a jokester“ YALL THIS BOOK LITERALLY MADE ME CRY. I went through all five stages of grieve in the last 100 pages and whenever Luna and Knight teased and hurt each other.

L. J. Shen filled this book with so many emotions I’m still in awe.
