A Streetcar Named Desire and Other Plays by Tennessee Williams

5.0

I only read A Streetcar Named Desire , I might read the other two in the future, who knows.

I really liked the way this book explored the themes and the commentary it did on women and how their role was defined by American society, especially Southern women, who were ill-equipped to deal with life on their own, staying constantly dependent on men.

It was revolting to read, even though I knew where it was going. I mean, fu***** men!

The worst thing is that this type of thing keeps happening nowadays.

The point is that I think that it is very well done!
