The Bladed Faith by David Dalglish

Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.

This seems like a really interesting story, but the style is just not working for me at all - too visual and too action-heavy, not enough emotional weight or good flow to the prose (and the occasional word used uncomfortably or just plain incorrectly). But for someone less persnickety and cranky (I'm in the middle of copy-edits; I'm especially word-cranky right now) this would probably be a rollicking read!
