I loved the atmosphere and the mystery behind the book. Plenty of the imagery left me fully uneasy in exactly how it intended. I do think the protagonist was very frustrating. Her attitude bordered on irritating and never made way for any depth. You get the gist of her right away and it never really reveals any more floating beneath the surface.
