This is a novella set after the 3rd book. I really enjoyed that this was from a different characters POV. In this book you get further insight and character development for Andrea. There is also a sneaky chapter at the end from another POV which gives you a little further insight into both Kate and Curran's magic.

I really enjoyed the plot of this one and how it brought the mythology of Persephone and Hades into it. It was great to get to know more of Andrea's backstory as it allowed her choices to make more sense as well as the dynamics between her and Raphael. I also loved the development between the 2 of them in this novella. Whilst I don't think it necessary to read this novella for the series, I certainly think it adds to it.
